MANUEL PARDO

The outstanding career of this men’s fashion designer and tailor encompasses more than 30 years. He started at the Barcelona based prestigious Atelier Guerrero, where he learnt and developed his tailoring skills and also had the opportunity to dress some national and international artists and celebrities.

Continuing his career with the MANUEL PARDO brand, his need for evolution has led him to redesign not only silhouettes but also the style concept of traditional bespoke tailoring. Inspired by the Mediterranean, 20s outfit, and the Adlib style of Ibiza, he has merged the traditional production methods with innovative designs.

Currently, the new collections such as genderful tailoring for women, and twinning designers for Pets & Kids. 

The black & white genderful collection, inspired by the black & white blazer looks of the 20’s, as staple garments in any event at the time.

The genderful Riviera collection, evoking long summer days on the Côte d’Azur, where the tailored suit in navy blue and white has always been a classic look par excellence, worn day and night, by men and women.

Manuel Pardo is not only a designer brand, it is a lifestyle that values details and adopts the essence and philosophy of slow fashion. The firm’s team follows a meticulous artisanal process, giving priority to each stitch, to create high quality garments that combine bespoke tailoring  and innovation in design.

Eco-fashion philosophy is reflected in the use of natural fabrics such as: silk, linen, worsted wool, and viscose and natural materials as bronze & natural mother-of-pearl from Australian oyster shell buttons.

Our production is certified by MASTERS OF LINEN®, which is a sign of excellence for linen fabrics made entirely in Europe, at all stages of production – from the yarn to the final product.

TAKING MEASUREMENTS

There are 19 different measurements taken by the tailor Manuel Pardo in our Atelier. 

PERSONALISED PATTERN

A pattern is made with the client’s measurements, it is then equaled and marked.

CUTTING THE LININGS

Cutting the pieces carefully, with maximum precision.

Pressing the front of the dart

Pressing the front of the dart, marking the pockets, assembling the interiors and wadding.

Checking the measurements

Checking the measurements, trimming the armhole and preparing the armhole for sleeves, it is the most important step to make the jacket.

LAST DETAILS

Hand-made details: sleeve opening, armhole, collar, application of buttons, buttonholes and finishing touches.

LAST STEPS

Final check with the client and minor revisions and ironing, then the suit comes to life. The making of a single suit can involve up to eleven craftsmen and up to 60 hours of work.
